Light output and modes
The OuTask light offers several lighting modes to provide suitable illumination for different situations:
- 500 lumens – high output for camping and work
- 250 lumens – medium output
- 40 lumens – low output for longer battery life
- SOS flashing mode – for signalling in an emergency
Choose between 3000 K warm light and 6500 K white light to suit relaxing at camp or getting work done.
Magnetic mounting and portability
The magnetic base can be used on suitable magnetic steel surfaces, such as a stationary vehicle’s steel body panel or a tool cabinet. If no suitable surface is available, the folding tripod base lets the light stand on its own. Adjust the telescopic pole to the height you need.
USB-C charging and battery
The built-in 12,000 mAh battery charges via USB-C, using a compatible power supply. Maximum input power is 18 W. The USB-A and USB-C outputs can also charge compatible devices at up to 18 W.

How strong is the magnet?
The magnetic base helps position the light on suitable magnetic steel surfaces while camping or working beside a stationary vehicle. Grip depends on the surface material and condition; not all metals are magnetic.
How long does the battery last?
The manufacturer specifies 65 hours at 40 lumens; 17 hours at 250 lumens followed by another 3 hours at 40 lumens; or 6.5 hours at 500 lumens followed by another 7 hours at 40 lumens. Actual battery life depends on operating conditions and battery condition.
How do I charge it?
Use a USB-C cable and a compatible USB power supply. The manufacturer specifies an input of 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 2 A or 12 V / 1.5 A, with a maximum of 18 W. Charging time depends on the power supply and the battery’s initial charge level.
